Patrick Babydoll here reporting from Elmlea Farm.  Today is the last day of October and while it is mild today it has been downright chilly at night...so much so I had too wear my hat!  Seems my hat has shrunk...good thing I can get a new one here at the store! Hand made and one of a kind to boot!  Speaking of the store....I have news!!

The store will be closed the month of November due to the fact that Lee will be participating in a few shows.  However, if you would like to drop by the store and maybe see me too!  Just send us a note or call 705-778-2070 to arrange a time to browse the selection of fibre goods.  Eggs, meat, poultry are ALWAYS available.  It is also a good time to order your fresh Christmas turkey there is a limited number and we sold out at Thanksgiving!

The first show this November is on Saturday November 2, at Tuckers Corners in the Municipal Community Hall from 9-4.
The next show is the Wendy Mahoney Christmas Show and Sale and it is from November 8-10.  Friday and Saturday 9-7 pm and Sunday 10-4 pm.  The address is 292 Concession Road 8 East, Warkworth, 5 km north of Warkworth on Godolphin Rd.
Lee will have one of a kind hats, scarves and shawls. Mitts and socks are always available along with Alpaca felt insoles.  The insoles are only $ 12.00 and your feet will be roasty, toasty in the winter!
The month of December the store will be open 7 days a week from 10-5 until December 24, 2013.  Please drop by and see what we have to offer.
You may be interested to know that most of the items in the store come right from the farm!  My wool has even turned up in a few items!  Alpaca is the big seller though, but those fancy goats are in the mix as well!  Next time I think I better explain some of the process of how we make of fibre here on the farm.

Have a good day and remember to drop by and see Lee at the shows or come by here and see everyone!
